Stuart Kelley and Hazel Jones have an impressive reputation for instructor training of the highest quality and maintain an unusually high pass rate for all three parts of the qualifying examinations.
Both Stuart and Hazel are ORDIT approved trainers and as such are assessed every 2 years by a senior examiner from the Driving Standards Agency. Between them they have over 25 years experience of successfully training driving instructors.
In addition to this Stuart and Hazel are both Grade 6 Approved Driving Instructors. This is the highest grade that can be awarded by the Driving Standards Agency and is only achieved by around 5% of driving instructors nationwide. To achieve this grade they were assessed in 13 different categories of instructional technique and uniquely, they were both awarded the highest mark in every category.
They deliver highly successful training courses for all parts of the qualifying process to become a driving instructor and have developed their own unique range of training manuals.
Over recent years Stuart and Hazel have been helping a growing number of candidates from other training organisations who are struggling to pass the qualifying examinations. They are experts in assessing candidates and specialists in forming part 2 driving ability test and part 3 instructional ability test rescue packages tailored to each individual.
All driving instructors have to periodically take a test of continued ability and fitness to give instruction (check test). As grade 6 instructors, Stuart and Hazel have the detailed knowledge and skills required to work with qualified driving instructors to improve their grading.
